Doug made the decision to run for public service for many reasons. Most of all he was encouraged by many southeast Iowans to do so. After talking to many great people in Lee and Henry County, he felt that they are ready for change. A key element that keeps coming to the forefront in this decision is for things to change, we have to have a change. Doug believes he offers that change. He is looking forward to serving the people of southeast Iowa in the legislature.
